Storm ‘Andrea’ has dumped up to a metre of snow in some resorts across the Alps – so much so that many resort lifts and roads are closed with severe avalanche warnings (5 out of 5 risk in some areas!). With such a mammoth amount of snow many ‘old man of the hill’ types are already claiming its the biggest snowfall since the infamous 1999 winter!

We can now confirm that Titan Lodge will continue as a test centre for Garmin® GPS devices for the coming season. Based on feedback from last season, they have developed a new range of equipment including the Oregon 450 (equipped with touchscreen piste-mapping) and the Forerunner 310XT (a wrist-worn device). These state of the art GPS units will be free to use for all our guests enabling you to see who travelled the fastest, highest and furthest.

We have an season let apartment in Tignes available for the coming winter. Available from beginning of Dec through till 15th May 2011.

ROCK ON SNOWBOARD TOUR, LES DEUX ALPES 23RD – 24TH OCTOBER
2010 !

After last years success the ROCK ON SNOWBOARD TOUR is back in its 2nd year. It is a National tour of snowboard trials and the first date of the tour will be held in Les 2 Alpes on the 23rd to the 24th of October.

This event sees snowboard manufacturers and the general public come together in a friendly atmosphere, with competitions for all and night life and events in the evening. A perfect warm up weekend in anticipation of the winter season.

Over the 2 days, visitors can try out all the very latest equipment, totally free of charge, on the glacier in Les 2 Alpes. Competitions will also be held for adults and children.
