in Tignes is in a number of self catered apartments all located in the centre
of Val Claret.
The mountain bike routes and bike park are improving every year in Tignes
with most of the trails catering for the more experienced rider. The bike
lifts run from the end of June to the beginning of september. With breathtaking
views and a decent from 3200M it is definitely worth a visit
Tignes has 6 or more purpose-built downhill courses with jumps and gaps being
constructed, along with a 4-Cross course and two lines of Dirt Jumps which
will all be in place for summer 06.

Tignes is also home to Le Grande Motte glacier which is open nearly all year round. The main summer season is from the end of June until the beginning of September. This includes 20 km of piste and a snow park. The snow park has plenty of rails, kickers and half pipes to suit all levels with lessons available for beginners through to advance. The ski area is usually open from 7 am till 1 pm, which leaves plenty of time in the afternoon to enjoy some of Tignes many summer activities, which include:

Golf An 18-hole golf course, pitch and put and a driving range.
Skate/BMX: Tignes has its own fully equipped skate park, which is a perfect
way to spend the afternoon after a morning on the slopes. There are another
four skate parks within close proximity.

Tignes has a wide range of restaurants which cater for all types of cuisine and most budgets, from grabbing a pizza or burger to eating the finest French cuisine- you can’t go wrong. In addition there are plenty of bars and clubs to suit all tastes.
